Created Explorers Art Class - K-2nd Grades / Ages 5-8

Tuesdays 4:00-5:00 pm

6-week sessions:

• Fall Session 1 - August 26 - September 30

• Fall Session 2 - October 7 - December 2 (No class Nov. 11 for Veterans’ Day or Nov. 25 for Thanksgiving break)

Choose between full semester (14 weeks total), Session 1, or Session 2. At registration, you may choose between full payment of $185/session or $370/semester, OR $25 supply deposit with payment balance due one week before class begins.

This class will focus on the elements of art, famous artists/styles, and basic drawing/painting techniques taught in a fun, engaging, developmentally appropriate way for young artists developing interest and skills in art. Students will explore different art media, styles, and techniques using quality materials, complete multiple masterpieces, and have the opportunity to display a piece of their art at a local coffee shop.

All classes will be held at our studio located at 507 Energy Center Blvd., Suite 302, one block off Watermelon Rd. in Northport.

Missed Class Policy:

We do not offer refunds or make up classes for missed classes during our class sessions. If possible, we will work with a student the next week to make up what was missed or send materials home, if the project allows.

Cancellation Policy:

If a cancellation is requested up to 7 days prior to the start of class, tuition will be refunded, minus a $25 registration/supply fee. Within 7 days of the class start date, class tuition is non-refundable. A minimum number of students must be enrolled in order for the class to make. If your class has low enrollment, you will be notified and given the choice of moving to another class or receiving a refund.
